Permalink: Palm Treo 500 launches on O2 UK

The Palm Treo 500 smartphone, which was previously only available on the Vodafone network, is now available from O2 UK after Palm’s exclusivity deal with Vodafone came to an end.
The Treo 500 resembles the Palm Centro, but the Windows Mobile 6.0 device is targeted at business users, and offers high-speed Internet access, access to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, together with full multimessaging capabilities.
The 3G phone features a full qwerty keyboard for easy typing, a 240×320 pixel transflective display, GSM radio and a 2 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
