23half Inc launches camera phone search technology

23half Inc, a California-based company which specialises in innovative technologies to extend the use of camera phones, has announced the availability of the beta version of Thrrum Visual Search.

Thrrum Visual Search effectively transforms a camera phone into a visual information browser. It integrates visual recognition and information search technologies to hyperlink physical objects with related information.

The technology enables a camera phone user to simply point their phone at an object, a product label, or any print material, and simply click to receive relevant search results.

Users can sign up for invitations to the free beta program at
http://www.thrrum.com/.
