Sony Ericsson has announced the W580 Walkman, a stylish 2.0 megapixel camera phone with full Walkman music capabilities.
The slider phone can store up to 470 full-length tracks. It is distributed with Disc2Phone music management software and USB cable in the box, making it easy to transfer music from a computer to the phone.
The TrackID feature can identify music tracks whether they are playing out loud or via the phone’s RDS FM Radio.
The W580 also features games and sports applications which can monitor running speed and distance and calculate the number of calories used.
The device comes in either Syle White or Urban Grey. The slider opens to reveal hot orange colour accents and light effects along the sides. It measures just 14mm thick.
The 2.0 megapixel camera and fast connectivity are ideal for picture blogging and instant messaging, and viewing photos is a pleasure on the phone’s 2.0″ colour screen.
