Nokia releases Navigator 6110

Nokia has followed up its top of the range N95 smartphone with the launch of the more affordable Navigator 6110.

The satnav device features a metallic trim and neat sliding action.

UK maps are provided by Route 66 on MicroSD card. An address or postcode can be entered to plan a route in seconds. Voice prompts help to compensate for the 2.2-inch screen, which is too small to use while driving.

The feature-rich 6110 includes free speed camera info, fast zoom and the ability to send your position to a contact as either GPS coordinates or a map image.

It also has HSDPA, push email, music player, 2 megapixel camera and a browser and viewer for Word and Excel documents.
