DeviceAnywhere Test Games on Real Mobiles
Two well known producers of games for mobile publishers, Playphone and Tapatap, have joined forces with DeviceAnywhere in order to have a testing ground for their games.

They want to find out in advance just how the games perform on actual devices, especially in more remote regions of the world.

DeviceAnywhere have a network of real handsets, several hundred in all, which can be monitored from their locations around the world to see how they actually are performing in the real world.

The companies see this as a very viable way to see just how the games function, so if they need to they can make changes to address any problems.

This is a highly competitive market where things change rapidly and the companies need to know ahead of time if their games will work in Thailand, in the same way that they work in New York.

DeviceAnywhere saves companies having to set up their own network of all kinds of hand held devices and hook them up to carriers from Tokyo to London.

This service enables them to easily see how the games perform in all kinds of markets on hundreds of different devices.

DeviceAnywhere uses the internet to monitor around 1500 devices via remote access from their locations around the world.

They can test development, porting and monitor their functioning no matter where they are located.

They can even test minor functions such a pressing a button or the use of touch screens, and can see the LCD and listen to the sound coming from the device.

They can even open and close the handsets to check on the state of the battery.
