Pictures of Samsung’s slimmest ever mobile phone have been released on an Italian technology website.
Although the Ultra Edition 5.9 hasn’t yet been formally released, the site also included a few specifications.
The phone is said to be a triband/GSM phone, with a 3.2MP camera. It also features an MP3 player, video recorder, mobile TV capability, and Bluetooth.
Samsung is expected to release the Ultra Edition 5.9 in March 2007 with 80MB of memory included.
Samsung also held the previous record for the world’s thinnest mobile phone with the X820 handset. The Ultra Edition 5.9 is a complete millimetre thinner at around 5.9 millimetres - which explains the phones name.
