Nokia introduced several new models at the Nokia World conference, all of which are scheduled to be available in the first quarter of next year.
The Nokia N95 will include a GPS (global positioning system), which provides accurate maps for any city in the world. The HSDPA-capable phone has 160MB built-in storage that can be expanded by up to 2GB more using a microSD card. It features a 5-megapixel camera with videorecording capabilities at 30 frames per second (fps).
Nokia is also launching new models of its 6000 series — the Nokia 6300, 6290 and the 6086.
The 6300 is a 13mm thick stainless steel candy bar which includes a 2-megapixel camera and comes with musicplaying capabilities.
The 6290 is a 3G smartphone with a 2-megapixel camera and push e-mail capabilities.
The 6086 is a quadband clamshell with a VGA camera and WLAN (wireless local area network).
