T-Mobile has announced the addition of the Samsung T819 to its handset range.
The slider phone combines affordability with a rich feature set, including built-in Micro SD slot for cards of up to 2GB, an MP3 player, A2DP for wireless music streaming, Bluetooth, 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture support, a 176 x 220 screen and quad-band GSM/GPRS connectivity with Edge.
The phone measures 101 x 51 x 14mm and supports instant messaging for Yahoo, ICQ, Windows Live and AOL.
The SGH-T819 comes pre-loaded with T-Mobile’s myFaves application, which allows 5 friends or family members to be called for free.
The phone will initially be available in the US, with no details available yet of when it is likely to come to the UK. The US price is $99.99 with a 2 year contract.
