Samsung launched its new i780 handset at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, last week, and the phone has already appeared on Orange’s website, although there is no information on price.
The 3G HSDPA phone provides data transfer speeds of up to 3.6Mb/s. It runs Windows Mobile 6 Pro and features a 2.6in, 320 x 240 touchscreen display.
The phone has a Qwerty keyboard, two-megapixel camera on the back, and a VGA camera on the front for video calls. There is an optical joystick, providing 360’ navigation on menus, Internet and applications.
Connectivity is provided with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. The GPS handset comes with Garmin navigation software included.
