Sony Ericsson has announced the K850, its newest Cyber-shot camera phone which delivers digital camera-quality pictures.
The device features a 5 megapixel camera phone with auto focus and Xenon flash. Tri-band HSDPA facilitates high-speed picture and video blogging.
Photo fix allows a user to improve light balance with just one click. The BestPic feature is useful for taking pictures of moving objects. The camera takes nine pictures in rapid succession - the best one can then be selected and the rest discarded.
The K850 features a next generation camera menu, which allows users to scroll between functions such as shoot mode and picture size.
The lens cover retracts automatically with one click and a mode selector makes it easy to switch between camera, video and picture viewing modes.
Other features include a new media browser which keeps stored media, such as photos, video and music, in one place.
The phone will be available in the US this autumn. It measures 102 x 48 x 17 mm, weighs 118 grams and comes in luminous green and velvet blue.
