O2 launches XDA Atmos Smartphone

02 has launched the XDA Atmos smartphone. The Windows Mobile 6.0 phone has a slide-out Qwerty keyboard and a full-range of connectivity options, including 3G, GPRS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, and Edge.

The quad-band, GSM handset is aimed at the business market. It features push email, which means that when a new email arrives the user can see it immediately on the phone’s 2.4in QVGA screen, without have to manually check for new messages.

The built-in Windows Mobile 6.0 software meets business users’ communications and contact management needs, and information can easily be sent to colleagues and friends with Bluetooth.

The phone also features a 2Mp camera, and a microSD card slot which can accept up to 32GB microSD memory cards to store photos and other data.

The handset can play up to 12 hours’ worth of Windows Media Audio music or 7 hours of video between charges.

The O2 XDA Atmos will be available via the 02 business shop on a variety of tariffs.
