LG Electronics plans to launch its new handset, LG Shine, into the UK in February.
The UK launch is the first phase of a global distribution programme for the phone, which will be available in markets across the world by Q2 2007.
Shine was made available in Korea in November, and LG has already sold over 180,000 Shine handsets.
Shine is the second handset in LG’s Black Label Series of premium mobile phones - Chocolate, the first in the series is continuing to sell strongly worldwide.
Shine features a 2.2 inch ‘magic mirror’ screen, multi functional scroll key and brushed full metal body. It also has advanced music, photography and video capabilities.
Full technical details will be released at the UK launch event on February 7th.
