Piczo launches photo and video tools
Piczo, a social networking site for teenagers, is expanding its service to mobile users around the world in the New Year.

The site, which is fourth largest social networking site in the UK with 12.5 million unique users each month, will allow users to post camera phone photos, videos and messages to their profile pages.

The company hopes that this will encourage users to spend longer on the site as well as inspiring creativity and self-expression.

Piczo members will need to download a standalone application to their mobile phones. This will enable them to access tools to post photos and videos and to send messages to their contacts.

Piczo is designed to appeal to people aged between 13 and 16. It provides a blank profile which members can personalise in more detail than rival sites.

The site will continue its development next year with the introduction of more music and video partners.
