UBiQUiO announces 503G Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone

UBiQUiO announced the UBiQUiO 503G at CTIA Wireless 2007 in Florida. The quad-band phone is unlocked for use on most cellular networks.

It is powered by a 520MHz Intel Bulverde processor and features HSDPA 3G wireless technology, which supports speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. It also features Windows Mobile 6 software.

Windows Mobile 6 allows users to view emails in rich HTML format with live links to Web and SharePoint sites. It also provides the ability to remotely wipe all data from a device if it is lost or stolen.

The UBiQUiO 503G has 256MB of ROM, providing plenty of space to store mobile applications. It also features 64MB of RAM, a QWERTY keyboard, scroll wheel, 2.4″ touch screen, 2MP camera with Macro Focus, a second camera for video conferencing, a micro SD slot, Stereo Bluetooth and 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity.

UBiQUiO is launching the device in partnership with eXpansys plc.
