LG Electronics’ new 5.1 megapixel camera phone, the LG Viewty, will be available in the UK from mid-October.
The device will be available on all networks and from all major retailers.
The touchscreen phone is equipped with professional-level digital camera features including manual focus which gives users more control over their pictures.
A built-in image stabiliser helps record clearer images and users can personalise their photos by digitally writing on them via the LCD screen and an attached stylus.
The phone includes built-in digital editing software and allows pictures and video to be easily uploaded to the internet.
The LG Viewty also features SmartLight technology to provide bright pictures, even in low light conditions.
Video can be recorded at up to 120 frames per second, the highest frame speed ever for a handset camera.
Video files can be edited on the phone and uploaded directly to YouTube, the popular video-sharing site.
The phone provides high speed HSDPA connectivity at 3.6Mbps for web browsing.
