iphone-3g-small.jpegIt is now official! The latest details for the 3G iPhone’s price plan has been released by Apple’s UK partner, O2. The price plan revealed several key details on the monthly tariffs for the much anticipated device. The cheapest plan for the 3G iPhone will be the £30 per month for both the 8GB and the 16GB models which will also have an upfront charge of £99 and £159 respectively. This will include 75 minutes and 125 texts.

The £45 per month will give customers an 8GB iPhone for free, while the 16GB version costs £59. With this plan, users will get 1,200 minutes and 500 free texts.

All contracts are for 18 months, and include unlimited data and free Wi-Fi (via The Cloud hotspots).

Apple’s 3G iPhone is due to go on sale in the UK on Friday 11 July.

On another iPhone news, unhappy Canadians started a petition against Canadian iPhone partner Roger Wireless for giving out expensive 3G iPhone plans. In response to this, Apple stores in Canada will not be selling the said devices. Macworld’s Jim Dalrymple called up three Apple stores in Canada to confirm the news and received the same responses. They still don’t know at this point if they’ll be selling the iPhone or not. The Apple store reps did say that Rogers would have the iPhones for sure on launch day.
