Ferrari and Acer launch Ferrari PDA

The Ferrari PDA is the result of an ongoing alliance between performance car company Ferrari and computer manufacturer ACER Inc.

The black PDA has a red trim and will be launched soon in Europe. Its official name is the Ferrari Racing Personal Navigator. The Ferrari connection is obvious in the specially-designed wallpaper which features Ferrari cars.

The device also features sound effects, including a roaring car engine, when various actions are performed.

Detailed specifications for the device are not yet available, but it will have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS and a slot for an SD card. CoPilot Version 6 navigation software is included and it runs the Windows Mobile 5 operating system.
