14 June release for Samsung U700 camera phone

The svelte Samsung U700 is just 12.1mm thick, making it one of the thinnest slider phones on the market.

Its good looks are further enhanced with a glossy cover and the device is also packed with features.

The U700’s camera, located on the back of the handset, has a 3 Mega Pixel sensor at 2048×1536 pixels, with auto-focus for sharp images. A built in picture editor means that images can be fine-tuned. There is also a secondary VGA video call camera on the front of the phone.

The handset has a generous 2.2 Inch TFT Display with 256K colors at a 240 x 320 pixel resolution.

There is also a music player that supports MP3, AAC, eACC and WMA file formats and comes with Quick PC Sync software, making it easy to select tunes.

The 3G handset is complete with fast HSDPA compatibility for email and web browsing. MicroSD (TransFlash), USB v2.0 and Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP provide additional flexibility.

Vodafone is releasing the phone in the UK on the 14th June 2007.
