The Carphone Warehouse is currently advertising the UK availability of Samsung’s G810 handset on 14 April 2008.
Samsung recently demonstrated the ‘infotainment’ handset at CTIA Wireless 2008, when it made its US debut.
The stainless steel, slider phone runs Symbian v9.2 S60 3rd Edition software, and features a 5 Megapixel camera with 3x Optical zoom and face detection technology.
It also has Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), image stabilisation, Xenon flash and a 2.6in screen which is ideal for displaying photos.
Connectivity options include up to 3.6Mb/s HSDPA 3G connections, built in GSM, GPRS and Edge and Bluetooth.
The G810 provides 130MB of in built memory, with the option to extend this via microSD.
