LG has finally released the Chocolate folder phone in the UK. The company has released the U830, which has a better feature set that the original Chocolate slider, but is of a similar design.

Although the U830 is a 3G phone it is able to achieve HSDPA (3.5G) download speeds. It includes the same touch-sensitive controls within the folder, and comes with 185MB of on board memory.

The device includes a 2MP camera for images and video and plays audio tracks from a fully-features MP3/AAC music player. It also supports Stereo Bluetooth.

The U830 measures 14.8mm thick, and includes a variety of options such as POP3 email services for direct access to web-based email accounts.

The Chocolate folder is being launched via mobile operator 3 and includes a pair of stereo headphones, two batteries, and a USB lead as standard.
