Austrian manufacturer, Tel-Me, is expected to launch the first GSM phone for the European market with a two-mega pixel camera, later in 2006.

The T939 uses the Windows CE operating system, rather than Windows Mobile OS which features on the Motorola MPx200 and Orange SPV. It includes Microsoft Office applications, Instant Messaging, a web browser and has a 256k-colour touch screen.

Sharp, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and Motorola are also believed to be developing mega pixel camera phones.
