RipCode, Inc., the Internet video solution provider has entered into a partnership with mobile ad company, Millennial Media, Inc., which will significantly enhance ad campaigns for customers.
The partnership will provide a service which integrates Millennial Media’s ad targeting and distribution system with RipCode’s on-demand video transcoding and delivery technology.
It will allow advertisers to use dynamic, visually rich video in mobile ad campaigns delivered across Millennial Media’s mobile advertising networks.
The partnership will also benefit RipCode’s clients, enabling video advertising to be seamlessly added to mobile video content.
RipCode’s transcoding technology allows video files to be optimised for on-demand delivery of video based on the capability of a customer’s mobile handset, ensuring the best possible user experience.
Millennial Media’s intelligent ad targeting allows video ads to be paired with contextually relevant video content.
This is then delivered as a single stream with no re-buffering between the ad and the requested content.
