Asus demos tiny P320 PDA at CeBIT

Asus brought its tiny P320 Windows Mobile handset to CeBIT, the digital IT and telecommunications trade fair in Germany.

The company claims that the Windows Mobile 6 device is the smallest Windows Mobile PDA phone to feature integrated GPS.

It measures just 99 x 55 x 13.35mm, weighs 105g and is targeted at consumers, a departure for Asus which usually focuses on the business market.

Despite its diminutive dimensions, the handset features a 2.0 mega-pixel camera, complete with auto focus, and comes with quad-band connectivity (GSM 850/900/1800/1900/).

It also features Wi-Fi, USB 1.1 and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. The device has a 2.6-inch LCD touch screen which supports 65k colours.

The PDA is powered by a Ti OMAP 200 MHz CPU and embeds 128MB flash and 64MB DDR memory.

Asus plans to launch the P320 in June 2008 at a retail price of approximately €400.
