The LG KE850 Prada phone will be released on 10 March and is available for pre-order for $900 on Popular Electronics’ Web site.
The feature-packed candy bar phone, which measures 3.9 by 2.1 by 0.5 inches, features a touch screen interface with glowing icons, a 2-megapixel camera (complete with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens), Bluetooth, support for the EDGE network, FM radio, document viewer and a media player with support for MP3s, AACs, WMAs and RealAudio files.
Like Apple’s iPhone, the KE850’s many features are accessed via a large touch screen instead of the conventional keypad and soft keys. The flash-powered display was designed in partnership with Prada.
