Sony Ericsson has released the W610 Walkman phone, which combines a 2 megapixel high-quality camera phone with a music player.

The W610 can store up to 500 tracks on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro included in the package.

Using the TrackID feature, a user can record a sound clip and an integral music recognition service will identify the clip and display the track name and album. The phone also features a RDS FM Radio which displays track and station details on the screen when the radio is in use.

The camera, which includes integrated auto focus, is operated with a horizontal menu. A picture blogging facility allows easy uploading of photos to a blog directly from the camera menu.

The W610 comes in Plush Orange or Satin Black and will be available from March 2007.
