July release for Nokia N96
The new sim-free Nokia N96 phone is expected to be available from the end of July.

The handset, which was announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, back in February, looks set to be packed with features.

Play.com is currently taking pre-orders for the multi-media handset at a price of £600, but this does seem on the expensive side.

The phone includes a five-megapixel, Carl Zeiss camera with dual LED and auto-focus, 16GB internal memory and a 2.8-inch display for web browsing with the Nokia Web Browser.

Connectivity is via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDSPA, with a DVB-H mobile TV tuner available in selected markets.

The sleek, black casing slides like its successor, the N95. The keypad is backlit and the phone features dedicated gaming buttons.
