Sony Ericsson selects Scalado Panorama technology
Permalink: Sony Ericsson selects Scalado Panorama technology by Jan Harris

Sony Ericsson has integrated Scalado AB’s automatic mega pixel panorama creator, the Scalado AutoRama, and CAPS imaging software suite, in its SO905iCS 5 megapixel camera phone.
The SO905iCS, which was recently launched in Japan, is the first commercial phone to include Scalado’s AutoRama technology.
Scalado AutoRama provides 2 modes; a 4-stitch panorama or a 360º panorama encompassing 10 photos. The fully automatic feature links images together in order to create a single, specialised photograph.
The user simply clicks to start the application and rotates the camera. AutoRama takes the necessary photos, stitches them together and displays the completed image on the screen.
