Handset manufacturer, Mobiado, has released a new limited edition handset - the Stealth. Mobiado plans to produce just 1,200 units of the model.

The Stealth’s casing is created from aircraft aluminium, with the front machined from a single sheet, with an inlay of one piece of sapphire crystal.

Further reinforcement is provided with a rock hard ceramic coating, while the lettering and Mobiado symbol are machine engraved to give crisp, clean lines and sharp edges.

The buttons are sapphire crystal and stainless steel, and the front screen and camera window are also sapphire crystal.

The phone is compatible with GSM network operator and has high-speed WCDMA 2100 connectivity and tri-band GSM coverage on up to five continents (GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900).

Other features include a large QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera, video camera, microSD expansion, stereo speakers, push to talk over cellular, Bluetooth technology, speaker phone, and a music player that supports MP3, MP4, eAAC+ and AAC music files.

The name is meant to bring to mind the military Stealth aircraft.
