T-Mobile launches MDA Vario III
T-Mobile is launching the new MDA Vario III smartphone in the UK. The device is also known as the HTC Kaiser.

The Windows Mobile 6 powered device features a GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and three megapixel camera.

The 2.8-inch 240 x 320 pixel touch-screen slides out and can also be tilted upwards, creating a ‘mini-laptop’ complete with QWERTY keyboard. The laptop experience is enhanced with fast 3.6 Meg HSDPA download speeds.

To complement the built in GPS, CoPilot Live 7 sat nav is available as an optional extra, providing spoken directions, live traffic info and mobile location tracking.

Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint applications an included and the device also features Bluetooth and a microSD card slot for multimedia applications.

The phone measures a substantial 59mm x 112mm x 19mm and weighs 160g.

It is available from free on T-Mobile’s Flext 50 tariff, which costs £45 a month.
