Neochroma brings big screen to mobiles

Neochroma, a German company, is marketing a digital stereoscope attachment for mobile phones which promises to put a big screen into the palm of your hand’.

A mobile phone is attached to the device and the user then views the screen through the stereoscope, which give the effect of looking at a 19 inch computer monitor. The device shows life-like 3D images instantly.

The device aims to overcome the problem of tiny screens on mobile phones, which tend to limit camera phone usage.

The device, which is inexpensive to build, can also be used for navigation applications.
