Samsung announces i550 GPS phone

Samsung has officially announced its GPS integrated Samsung i550 phone, although no details are yet available about a UK release date.

The i550 is Samsung’s first navigational phone running on the S60 platform - 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 with Flash Lite 2.0 support.

The phone features a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus, LED flash and dedicated camera button.

Connectivity is provided with HSDPA, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 (including A2DP). There is a 2.6-inch screen and microSD card slot.

Samsung i550 measures 115 ×53 x 13.8 mm and comes with a 1200mAh which should last around 24 hours, depending on usage.

According to reports, the phone will be available in November for around $400.
