T-Mobile will be one of the first operators to offer the new Sony Ericsson W880i Walkman handset. The phone will be free to customers with a Flext 35 tariff.
The T-Mobile version features additional customisations to those outlined when the phone was announced by Sony Ericsson in February, including a dedicated key on the handset providing a direct link to T-Mobile’s Mobile Jukebox service.
The button will allow users to download songs for £1 per track from T-Mobile’s music store. The phone features 16MB internal memory and 1GB memory card to store download tracks.
The handset has also been customised to conform with T-Mobile’s web’n'walk offering for viewing internet pages on screen and features a 2 megapixel camera for photographs and video capture.
The Sony Ericsson W880i is available in black from T-Mobile stores and online at www.t-mobile.co.uk. Unlimited internet access on the handset is available on the handset for an additional £7.50 on top of the Flext 35 tariff.
